Helvetify is a Shopify app published by Antony Goncalves, Zurich, Switzerland.
For any question about your data: support@helvetify.app.
Shop data: its domain name, the access tokens Shopify provides at installation, and the language of the admin user who opens the app.
Audit results: the state of the shop's Swiss configuration (markets, currencies, shipping, languages, translations), including names of markets and shipping profiles and product titles quoted as examples.
Service data: the plan chosen and the date it was last checked, to adapt what the app displays.
Technical logs: as with any online service, our hosting provider records technical data about each request sent to the app, for example the IP address, the browser type, the date and the time. They are only used to keep the service secure and working.
When sending an alert, the app reads the shop's name and contact e-mail address. The app doesn't store that address.
Helvetify accesses no personal data of the shop's end customers (buyers): no orders, no customer accounts, no addresses.
To provide the service and keep it technically secure: audit the shop's configuration, compute its score, keep the history of audits and send alerts.
Helvetify works in read-only mode: it changes no setting of the shop. The data is neither sold nor used for advertising.
This processing relies on the performance of the contract between you and us (installing and using the app) and on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working, under the Swiss data protection act (FADP) and, where it applies, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Shopify, for installation, access to the shop's data and billing.
Render, for hosting the app and its database.
Resend, for sending alert e-mails: this provider receives the recipient's address and the content of the alert.
These providers have their head office or servers outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States and Canada: the data may therefore be processed there.
These transfers rely on the safeguards set out in their data processing agreements, for example the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Write to us if you would like to know more.
This data is only passed on to the providers listed above, to the extent their services require it, and is not used for anything other than what this page describes.
As long as the app is installed on the shop. The hosting provider's technical logs are kept for the period it sets.
On uninstall, the shop's session, audit history and settings are deleted. The app also carries out the erasure requests Shopify sends it.
Within the limits set by law, you can ask for access to your data, its correction, its erasure, the restriction of its processing or its portability, and object to its processing, by writing to support@helvetify.app. Uninstalling the app deletes the shop's data.
You can also contact the competent data protection authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the European Union, the authority of your country.
